It’s a battery
Holds a charge for a long time. But once it starts draining it goes down fast. Always have a backup
You've recently bought 2600 mAh Lithium-ion 18650 Rechargeable Battery
I replaced the existing battery and all seems well. Happy with the prompt service.
Some good Some bad.
I bought batteries because the one that came with the light was faulty. When the replacement (through the claims dept.) came in it was also dead. I purchased 2 just in case this happened. The new batteries work great. They also have a slightly different color. The 2 dead batteries are identical with a lighter color. I'm thinking that there was a bad batch of batteries that got through QC somehow. I was going to use the extra battery for a new powertec light. These flashlights are simply awesome (just have to figure on buying extra batteries just to be safe).
Wonderful service
When I received the battery I ordered, it came in smashed on one side. After talking with customer service, they didn’t even hesitate to replace it. Thank you so much for the replacement.
2600MAH battery
Newly purchased and once charged-up, seems to offer longer run time than the less-powerful 18650 battery. Time will tell, actually--over and over and over.......
