Terms Of Sale

The following Return Policy applies to both U.S. and International customers:

Because you proceeded with your order, you agree that you have authorized this transaction. You further agree that you will be responsible for full payment of this order plus an administrative fee of $55 if you contact your credit card company to reverse the charge on your bank statement (a "chargeback") after receiving the product(s) you ordered or contact them if the order is en route to you. Other actions that may be taken can be found in our site's main Return Policy, Shipping Policy, and full Terms of Sale. You are responsible for your package(s) if you choose to decline "signature requested" at the time the order was placed.

Shipment Delivery: Orders are normally shipped with "no signature requested," unless you choose "signature requested" during checkout. We are not responsible for any package(s) delivered without a signature, nor are we responsible for any package(s) stolen after delivery.

Note that we will override your request for "no signature" and automatically place a "signature requested" on all Canadian orders and on all U.S. orders that exceed $75. Also, we will automatically place a "signature requested" on drop-ship orders, orders shipped to an address that differs from the credit card billing address, PO Box addresses, shipments to unconfirmed PayPal addresses, and American Express customers. Finally, at our discretion, we reserve the right to override any order that requests "no signature." For Canadian orders for which a customer has chosen "no signature" with USPS as the shipping carrier, we will automatically switch it over to UPS with "signature requested" on the package(s).

Waived Signature Requested

You can waive the delivery signature, but we are not responsible for any package(s) delivered without a signature, nor are we responsible for any package(s) stolen after delivery. Also, if you contact your credit card company to do a chargeback because the package(s) got stolen and/or misplaced, you still are responsible for the original order amount and the administrative fee of $55 as outlined under "Credit Card Disputes" in our main Return and/or Shipping Policies.

If you want us to process your order without a delivery signature (signature requested), let us know after you place your order and we'll email back your original order with the outlined terms and a place for a signature and date. Print this email, sign with your full name and date it in the appropriate areas, and fax the entire email to us at 845-649-3802. We will proceed with your order once we receive the signed Waived Signature Requested document.

For UPS packages that require a signature, the UPS driver will leave a UPS "InfoNotice" to notify you that a first attempt was made to deliver your package(s). The notice will tell you when a second attempt will be made or leave instructions for you to call 1-800-833-9943 so you can pick up the package(s) yourself or change the way the delivery is to be made. As the receiver, you can change the delivery destination of the package(s) or authorize the driver to release the package(s); however, extra shipping costs could be charged for which you are responsible. We will bill you for these additional charges. If the bill is not paid to us within 30 days from the date of the invoice, it will then be turned over to a collection agency as a delinquent account. If the bill is not paid within 30 days after you've been contacted by the collection agency, your account will be reported to all credit bureaus as a delinquent collection account. This negative report will show up on your credit report in approximately 90+ days and will remain on your credit record for at least seven years.

In either case, UPS or PowerTacLights.com, will not be responsible for the package(s) if you choose to change the way the delivery is to be made once we've shipped the order with "signature requested."

After a third attempt at delivery, UPS will send a postcard telling you how and where you can pick up your package(s) from UPS. UPS will hold the package(s) for 5 business days before returning the package(s) to us. If, after we receive your package(s), you ask us to resend them, we will charge you for reshipment and for any shipping expenses that UPS charged us for return of the package(s). We will contact you by email or phone to arrange shipping payment. When UPS leaves the first UPS "InfoNotice," please follow their instructions or call UPS at 1-800-833-9943 so you can receive your package(s) in a timely manner.

If your order is returned to us because you refused to pick up your package(s) and you expect a refund, be advised that the refund will be for the product only minus the original shipping and handling cost, return shipping cost, and a 50% restocking fee. It can take up to 3 weeks before we know the amount of the return shipping cost. Once we have that information, a refund will be issued.

If you call us or send us an email that you refuse to pick up your package(s) or you refuse to redirect the delivery of the package(s), you will be responsible for the return shipping cost placed on the package(s) by the carrier involved, and a 50% restocking fee. Also, if you contact your credit card company to dispute this transaction because you don't want to make arrangements to sign, redirect, or pick up the package(s), be aware that you will still be responsible for the original shipping and handling cost, return shipping cost, a 50% restocking fee, and an administrative fee of $55 as outlined under "Credit Card Disputes" in our main Return and/or Shipping Policies.

Duties, Taxes, and Brokerage Fees

If you are an international customer, you are responsible for paying the duties, taxes, brokerage and/or any other fees associated with any product(s) you ordered in the US for importation into your country. PowerTacLights.com, is not responsible for any fees required on any package(s) being processed and cleared by your country's custom officials. Any customer who refuses to pay the required fees to import any international package(s) shipped by PowerTacLights.com, will be responsible for the return shipping costs placed on the package(s) by the carrier involved.

If you contact your credit card company to dispute a transaction with PowerTacLights.com, because you refused the package(s) due to your country's custom requirements that you pay duties, taxes, and/or other fees, you will still be held responsible for the original shipping cost, return shipping cost, and the administrative fee of $55 as outlined under "Credit Card Disputes" in our main Return and/or Shipping Policies.

We will bill you for any extra shipping charges that occurred as outlined above, and if that bill is not paid to us within 30 days from the date of the invoice, it will then be turned over to a collection agency as a delinquent account. The "Signature Requested" on your order was placed to protect all parties involved and to follow our policies as outlined in the above Terms of Sale and the Terms of Sale included in your email order receipt.
