M5 Gen3 - 2,030 Lumen EDC High Power Flashlight

Amazing flashlight. I have 3!

Writing a short review of this flashlight is nearly impossible because of how great they are! I have 3. One for me, my wife and our daughter. My wife and I carry ours every time we are walking at night. I keep mine on me all day, and by my bedside at night. The power and throw at night is astonishing. But I also leverage the fire flight mode when traveling out of country as a nightlight. Easily goes a full week in that mode. The Gen 3 charging improvements were a serious improvement, although I light be tempted to get the USB C charging capability on a repurchase. Finally, I have had an issue with one I purchased and the lifetime warranty and replacement was super fast and easy.

The best of the best

I have two already. Everyone is asking about them, because they’re the best of the best. I take them up on the roof with me at work or whenever I’m walking the dog. The amount of light it gives off is remarkable nothing comes close to it. The best feature is the four settings, but just keep in mind the higher the setting the less battery life. That’s technically why I have two and possibly another soon. They’re durable too. Dropped them plenty of times and the only thing to break is the lens on one of them. On that one alone, the cracked lens does not affect it any and it still works like the day I got it. Any of these products are a must have.

M5 Powertac

I have at least 5 Powertac flashlights and I Love them for work and home. They are very durable and I have owned them for over 5 years and they all are still going strong everyday. These are the only flashlights I will ever own from now on. Thank You Powertac for such a great product!!!

Reliable

I bought the Warrior kit around 2015 and the version of the M5 the following year. The Warrior and belt holder continue to serve me well everyday at work even after repeated drops to the concrete. The M5 is my EDC and has never failed. Over the next several years I’ve recommended them to coworkers and friends. I purchased 3 M5s and batteries for gifts.

Favorite edc light

I have many flashlights from many companies. This M5 GEN 3 is without a doubt my favorite. Every time I use it when someone is near they want one of their own!!! I have sent many people to PowerTac and haven’t heard a complaint about their product yet!!!

Great Light

Flashlight is well built and easy to grip. Thumb switch easy to locate. Magnetic charger is a game changer. Customer service answered my questions quickly. Thanks for looking after the first responders

Great flashlight.

I am very impressed and happy with the flashlight. I received one that was DOA but customer services was top notch. When everything was sorted out, the final product works great and is very well thought out. I will definitely pick another one up in the future. The quality seems great and I really like the knurling. Try one out, I don’t think you will be dissapointed.

Solid light

My light has been pretty beat up so far and most of the grip has been damaged now and the whole thing is just beat to ****. I depended on this light for a month long field OP in the swamp and it still held up through the digging and running through the woods I didn't loose it, it held up great during notional combat OPs and if I do another real combat deployment (hopefully we'll never have to) this is the light I would carry. The clip has been heavily abused and is still just as difficult to clip onto stuff as day 1, if not I would loose it.

We love the brightness, size of the flashlight and especially the tail button switch…so convenient!

Great flashlight

I have probably 11 or 12 flashlights. Many are Powertac. My Hero ME144 but the dust after 10 years so I sent it in to be repaired. Since it was the one we kept in my wife’s car, I went ahead and bought M5 on the sale promotion. Very impressed! This little flashlight has a very bright beam on high and I like the tail switch for off and on. very compact yet powerful. I bought 3 more for my other vehicles. It will get hot when on high beam, but I don’t typically need it on high or run very long. I’m liking it even better than my Hero! Impressive!

Incredibly bright, very sturdily built, and easy to carry.

Amazing light. Better than expected for sure. I love the magnetic charging via usb. Perfect for offgrid times. Easily charge with my solar.

Best flashlight ever!

Having the end cap on/off button and a separate mode button makes this an EDC flashlight. Intuitive layout, excellent flexibility, unmatched durability. Unfortunately, I can't let my boss or engineers borrow it. It disappears. 5 stars!
